National Public Radio (NPR): “Talk of the Nation” — "Talk of the Nation" is NPR's midday news-talk show hosted by Neal Conan. The show provides an exchange of ideas and opinions on the issues that dominate the news landscape — from politics and public service to education, religion, music and healthcare. It offers call-in listeners the opportunity to join enlightening discussions with decision-makers, authors, academicians, and artists from around the world. Steve Corbett was one of three guests interviewed by Neal on February 15, 2010. The interview addressed how to provide culturally appropriate aid to the Haitian people following the January 2010 earthquake…how to provide aid rather than paternalism.
